Giovanni Miliasso, renowned landowner and historic piedmont wine producer was Luigi Dezzani's grandfather. When Mr. Dezzani married Mr. Miliasso's daughter, he took over his lands, and the two wine-making entities merged under one group. Luigi, very closed with his maternal grandfather, decided to create a selection of wines dedicated to the dear Giovanni. Today,the Miliasso line represents a gem of Dezzani wines as well as having historical and sentimental value, for the high quality it has achieved. Every year the line produces limited quantities of great wines, from the most classic Barolo to the renowned Piedmontese whites that successfully estabilished themselves throughout key international markets. As well as the Miliasso family crest, there is also Giovanni’s signature, with which he signed his wines that he produced with great love and dedication. The label also contains his saying. “the personality of a wine is linked to the territory, the climate, the care of harvest and the personal interpretation of the one who signs the wine”
